16+Permission Slip
Due to the fact that my partner and I have decided to use children in the beginning of our video, it is imperative that we stick to the laws of filming outside of school walls. If a person or persons are under the age of 16 then a permission slip must be handed to a parent or guardian for them to sign to allow their face to be on camera and for the footage to be allowed to be used. Within our video we are using a young boy and a young girl who will be walking dogs together, symbolising the time that our two main characters meet. The form includes important information that must be noted by parents/guardians and that also we have to know. For example, allergies are a very important thing as we are using two dogs within our video. If one or both of the children are allergic then we must find a way to shoot the scene without causing harm to our young actors. A simple way around this is the dogs we are hoping to use are hypoallergenic; by this we mean that the dogs fur isn't contaminated with possible bacteria that can cause an allergic reaction.
